The makeup at Doo.Ri Chung’s Spring/Summer 2012 show is, according to MAC lead makeup artist Tom Pecheux, the embodiment of a “goddess.” Such heavenly creatures possess cheeks that blush a healthy peach (MAC Immortal Flower Powder Blush, available next Spring/Summer) and skin that gives off a dewy glow (MAC Fusion Gold Metal X Cream Shadow, available next Spring/Summer) that Pecheux dabs above the cheekbones using his fingers for a diffused feel. This same glow (and product!) travels to the eyelid, where Pecheux blends it from the upper lashline up through the brow and out toward the temples, keeping the application heavier on the inner corners of the eyes and over the brows. (Yes, the gold color actually highlights the brow hairs, lending a delicate glint.) To finish the portrait of a goddess, Pecheux applies MAC Innocence, Beware! Lipstick (available next Spring/Summer) to the entire lip, opting to apply the color straight from the bullet for a lush, full-coverage finish. —Karie L. Frost
